I decided to take a day trip from Sapporo to Jozenkai, and opted for the bus plus onsen package. It was a great deal overall since the bus fare alone is nearly the same as the package price. The onsen area is in good shape, although the hotel itself feels a bit outdated. While the onsen was a highlight, the overall vibe of the facility could use some refreshing.

I didn't stay overnight, but the rooms I saw as I walked by appeared clean and spacious, facing the valley. It was nice to catch glimpses of the trees and water from those rooms.

The staff at the onsen area were knowledgeable about the packages and very helpful. They spoke basic English, which made things easier.

The location is a bit farther from the bus stop than I'd hoped, but the views of the river and surrounding nature made the walk worth it. Also, the outdoor onsen experience was unique with the winter air mixing with the hot water.

The onsen facilities were quite well-maintained, with multiple pools available at different temperatures. The sauna and the outdoor area added to a great relaxing experience.

I had a great day trip experience from Sapporo to Jozenkai with the bus and onsen package, which was excellent value for the cost. The hotel where I accessed the onsen had some charm, but it felt a little outdated. The onsen facilities were really enjoyable and well-maintained. While I didn't spend the night, the day visit was definitely worth it for anyone looking to relax.

The onsens were fantastic, with multiple pools set to different temperatures and a nice outdoor experience. It was humid indoors, which was fine since they didn't need a wet sauna.

The day trip to Jozenkai was quite enjoyable, especially with the affordable onsen package that included both bus fare and onsen access. The onsen facilities were in good condition with multiple pools to choose from, although the hotel itself showed signs of aging. The location near the river is beautiful, but the bus stop situation could be a bit tricky for those relying on public transport.

The hotel is situated near the river and is a short walk from the onsen bus stop. However, the second bus stop directly in front of the hotel could be misleading about how far it actually is from the main attraction.

I didn’t dine at the hotel, but I noticed that the dining atmosphere didn’t feel particularly hotel-like, which could affect the overall experience for some.

I took a day trip from Sapporo to Jozenkai and decided to check out the Jozenkai View Hotel through a bus and onsen package, which felt like a good deal. The hotel itself seemed a bit outdated, but the onsen facilities were quite nice. It was relaxing to soak in the hot pools, especially in the winter air. However, I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. Overall, it's worth a visit for the onsen experience, but the hotel could use some updates.

I took a day trip to Jozenkai using the Jotetsu bus and onsen package, which offered great value. The hotel had a nice onsen experience, although it feels a bit dated. The surroundings were lovely, with a beautiful river view, but the overall ambiance of the hotel could use some refreshing. It’s undoubtedly worth the trip for an onsen day pass.
